Scanning is only half the process. After the image is scanned, you may want to manipulate it (resize it, retouch it if it's a photograph, etc.) and save it in some usable format (for example, jpg). I use a free downloadable program called Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) to do most of my work with graphics. I do have a couple other programs when I need more sophisticated photo fixes. If you're working with a photo for example, you'd scan it, open up your Irfanview (or other photo software), fiddle with it to get it right, and then save the image. You'd attach it to an outgoing email using the "attach" or "insert file" or "send photo" option that you have on the program you use for your email. -----Original Message----- From: Donna [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, March 05, 2005 9:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [SP] FW: How do you e-mail scanned material?
