    3. Years ago we set up the 8mm & Super 8 movie projectors, adjusted the speed to minimize flicker and aimed the video camera at a good (silver surface) movie screen. Don't know of any way to transfer film unless there is a working projector available. Copied an edited two-camera wedding tape to a 600 mb AVI file on CD-R back in 1998. Pictures were good but the marriage didn't last. Started making data DVDs in November and the first few with a mix of FTM files, pictures and research notes were fine. Today there was a problem with too many files or possibly file names that were too long. The total was around 4.2 GB. If you have a way to get from the movie film to a digital video camera, I can tell you about software purchased for writing DVDs. One particular brand of cameras always seems to work better than adaptors needed with other brands.
