<Have you tried rebooting? that often solves a multitude of woes> I ran RegClean then rebooted and the scanner works now, but only from the Start, Programs menu. When I click on the desktop icon and try to scan, nothing happens and the icon has changed for the scanner. Like Cathy said: It's a very weird outcome.
