is the group talking and I'm not getting anything or is the last post dated 11/2003 ?
There are several overlapping mailing lists with discussion of pictures and file naming. Most important is to USE some of the collected images to test that file size is appropriate for the intended purpose. My interest is printing right-size pictures and scanned source documents in a family book. -- Elizabeth ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vickie" > is the group talking and I'm not getting anything or is the last post dated > 11/2003 ?

Most important is to USE some of the collected images to test Hi Elizabeth! It's nice to see you on here also. This has been kind of a dormant list. I'm sure if someone asked a question, there would be those who could give answers - I know you can. I can expound a little on scanning 35mm color slides. I bought a scanner that scans 4 35mm color slides at a time and produces wonderful copy. It even corrects color deterioration. I have about 200 slides from Korea taken in 1952 - they came out great. I now have them on CD's for future use. I'm now waiting for a new 6 color printer that also prints labels on the CD's. I'm curious how that can be done.
