OK, I have not posted in a while, and I am going to run down a few ancestors to see if anyone has some common ground. My husband's grandmother was Vergil Elmina (EVANS) SIMPSON (1900-1972), and was married to Frank Dewitt SIMPSON (1903-1993). Vergil's parents were Albert Bennett EVANS (1859-1916) and Essie Ellis (ADAMS) EVANS (1865-1958). Albert's parents were Willis EVANS (1816/1825-1904) and Nancy Ann (HARRIS) EVANS (1867-1950). Essie's parents were John Quincey ADAMS and Sarah (TODD) ADAMS (1839-1912). Sarah's parents were Andrew TODD (1803-) and Rebecca TODD (1803-). Most all of these lived in the Iva area.
