I am intrested in your Caldwells. Were they from Spartanburg County? My maternal grandfather was Thomas Caldwell from there. I have another Caldwell related by marriage also. My paternal grandmother who was from Anderson had a sister who married a William Caldwell. Her name was Louise Taylor. I have no idea if William was any relation to my Spartanburg Caldwells. Does any of this ring a bell with you?
