    3. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: {not a subscriber} Liddell-Reeves Burying Ground Date: Thu, 5 Oct 2000 15:33:41 -0700 From: "John Randolph Calvert, MD" <exandoc@iamerica.net> To: <SCANDERS-L@rootsweb.com> I'm researching the family of Andrew Liddell (1750-1733), who moved to the Anderson, SC, area in 1790 from the Abbeville District. He received a grant of land on Six and Twenty Creek, in/near Centerville. Apparently there is/was a family cemetery on the property, "six miles north of Anderson," "in the midst of large fields and a half-mile from a public road," "just above the Earles land on the Six and Twenty." I think the cemetery may be called the "Reeves Burying Ground," or the "Liddell-Reeves Burying Ground." I need exact directions to this cemetery, and whether the land is privately owned, and by whom. Whom would I contact for permission to visit the cemetery? I need very specific information, so that with a limited amount of time for a visit to the area I can get photos of the cemetery to show at a family reunion in November. Carol A. Hubert
