They are purportedly married in SC, with their first child born somewhere in the Greenville or Laurens area. I have reason to believe that Sarah's father was Micajah PENNINGTON and that she was born in Rowan County NC. Both Francis and Sarah were born about 1775. Any help appreciated. Hal Hesterly in FL
