I do not know Elizabeth PEGG's parents, but certainly would like to. Do you have documentation that Samuel PEGG might be her father? I think he was Samuel Pegg, who lived in Greenville Dist., SC in 1790 census & owned land there. By 1800 he had moved to Pendleton Dist. She is to reside with any of my children she may choose and her expenses paid out of estate. This John Wilson is listed on p. 3247 of DAR PATRIOT INDEX -CENTENNIAL EDITION. He's a pensioner. There are DAR application papers through daughters Nancy and Martha. John was born June 10, 1755 in PA, died May 30, 1849 South Carolina. (The DAR ancestor card does now show a county of death, but he was living in Anderson District when he received his pension in 1835.). John WILSON's wife, Elizabeth PEGG, was born Feb. 27, 1775 (no place) and died in SC May 8, 1848. They were married May 20, 1797 (no Place shown).
