C, Palmetto Sharpshooters and Sgt. William H. McClinton, Co. G, 2nd SC Rifles --in the Anderson (SC) Intelligencer. They died away from home during the war and the notices appeared some time after their deaths, so if they are your missing ancestors I can tell you what happened to them.
