I believe it was taken in the mid-1880's around Piedmont, S.C. My grgrand mother and her sister who came from that mountains of N. C. are among the ladies who all look to be late teens to early 20's Does any one know if a Mrs Vermillion operated a school or training program at that time? Hannah
