Negro Silvia and her present and future increase to my 4 youngest children. Namely William D. Wilson, Martha Durham, Betsey Gambrell, and Nancy Sitton. All my children. Minerva Jane Copeland to receive equal share which would have given to my deceased daughter Mary C. Copeland. Executors: Sons-in-law Reid Gambrell and John P. Sitton. Dated 2 Feb. 1848. Wit: Jno. Watson, Sr. R E Blassingame Allen O Merritt Proven 1 Oct 1849." This John Wilson is listed on p. 3247 of DAR PATRIOT INDEX -CENTENNIAL EDITION. He's a pensioner. There are DAR application papers through daughters Nancy and Martha. John was born June 10, 1755 in PA, died May 30, 1849 South Carolina. (The DAR ancestor card does now show a county of death, but he was living in Anderson District when he received his pension in 1835.). John WILSON's wife, Elizabeth PEGG, was born Feb. 27, 1775 (no place) and died in SC May 8, 1848. They were married May 20, 1797 (no Place shown). Jane WILSON is listed as one of the children of John and Elizabeth on DAR application, but I NEED PROOF THEY ARE HER PARENTS. Her birth is given as Apr. 1, 1798 and husband Wade LOVE. John's service is Pvt in Inf. And Cav. Officers were: Capts Crump, Hamilton, Col. Parsley. His Pension # is S21581 and that's the proof of service. I also need information on parents of Wade LOVE b. SC 1795.
