Mattie, I will be glad to look for you, but you need to find a book called Gone to Georgia - sorry I can't remember the author. It was written about Pickens Dist. folks who migrated to Lumpkin Co., GA. There were many, many folks who did this, including a couple of my lines. The problem is that the books is difficult to locate, but you may be able to get it on inter-library loan. You will prob. find info in the book that you need.
