Hi, Chuck! Which Owens line are you related to? I have been (with not much luck) trying to find my 3rd-GreatGrandfather's line in 1840 - 1850 South Carolina. I know that the person he married and her family were always in either (1st) Anderson and then (2nd) Greenville Counties. Her name was Eliza Hollingsworth. His name is James Perry Owens, and I just draw a blank when I try to find him with his family on the 1850 South Carolina census. So, I was just wondering which line is yours.
