They had children: Mary born 1841; James Henry born 1846; Johnnie (ca 1848); Charles Wesley born Dec. 1849; and Eliza born 1854 in Georgia. Would like more information on James and Nancy (or Mary).

Although I cannot help you with James or Nancy I did want to let you know that in the Edgefield Census of 1790 William Scoggins was residing there, this man may be related to your Scoggin's. It wouldn't hurt to look here if you haven't already.
