He died in 1811 and his will was probated in Anderson County.His first wife was Sarah (mother of children) and second was Martha. His father was Nathaniel who died in Edgecombe County, NC in 1750, wife Elizabeth. My ggggrandfather William Tatum was another son of John.He was born in 1783 and moved to Alabama in the 1830s.He married Rebecca Miller daughter of Jesse Miller.
