James G. Jones GRANITE QUARRY, N. C. James Grady Jones. 62. died suddenly at his home Friday night. Born in Spartanburg County, S. C., son of the late S. F. and VeEtta Newman Jones, he was 47, a graduate of Clemson University and a vocational agriculattural teacher, having taught in the Rowan County schools since 1945. He was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church of Granite Quarry. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Cobb Jones; a daughter, Miss Patricia Ann Jones of Granite Quarry and a sister, Mrs. James Smith of Fletcher. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 am, at Shiloh Methodist Church by Rev. M. D. McIntosh. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Sons, Park, Fountain Inn, S. C., Saturday at 4 p.m. The body is at Powles Funeral home in Rockwell. Charles W. Wilson Williamston Sept. 2 Funeral services fir Charles W. Wilson , who died at Memphis Friday .will be conducted the First Baptist Church here Monday at 3 p. m. by rev. Paul Mabry. Burial will he in Big Creek cemetery. Pallbearers will be Norwood Welborn, Vance Volley, Conner Smith, Adger Davenport, Wade Murphy and Truman Reames. The body will remain at the Gray Mortuary at Pelzer until the hour for the funeral. Mr. Wilson was a Mason and a veteran of World War I. Wm. Honorary escort will be composed of deacons of the Clemson Baptist church and Dewey Brock, F. H. Clinkscales, S. B. Earle. and J. H. McHugh. The body will be at the home after 10 a. m. Monday.
