He didn't know when. This is a fair size cemetery and most all of their old markers are covered with black mold and very difficult to read. It's possible that President Roosevelt's WPA Project did a cemetery recording in the 1930's and the church gave something to work from. I assume the Columbia Archives would have a copy of such. Maybe the Anderson or Greenville libraries.
