I can't seem to find any info at all on him. I have lost all contact with the Collins side of my family(including my Uncle Robert). I have all sorts on info on my Mom's side(the Barker's in KS, IN, KY and NC). Here's what I have on Granpa Collins. Charles Sylvester Collins was born approx. 1886 in Pendleton and was a Painter. He enlisted in the Army in 1908. He was assigned to the 143rd Co. of the Coast Artillery Corp. and was a Corporal when he was discharged in 1911. When he got out he was in Ohio. How he got to Athens GA is not known. My father was born in Athens and move to Seneca then to Walhalla(were I was born). Any info would be helpful. Charlie Collins
