Would someone please give me directions on how to unsubscribe from this list. I keep unsubscribing and then I get a message that I have not been unsubscribed because I'm "not on the list". I have cable internet service now and I've already subscribed to this list under my new service. My service with Mindspring will be ending soon and I need to unsubscribe my Mindspring subscription. Bette, Be sure that the email to unsubscribe comes FROM THE MINDSPRING ADDRESS you used to subscribe. (For example, I have two mindspring email accounts with different names-one my name and one with my initials only.) The server will only recognize you in connection with the address you originally used to subscribe. Be sure you are sending to SCANDERS-L-request@rootsweb.com Send a message with a blank Subject, and with 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the body, to the address for unsubbing. You can still send from your mindspring account even if you are using a cable modem now. If you don't know how to set up your email to do this, a simple solution is to go to www.springmail.com and log onto the mindpsring mail server online using your username and password for mindspring.
