Hi Cindy, I am interested in your Simpson and McKee lines in the Iva area. My Thomas Simpson, b. ca 1810, married first to Mary Ann. She appears to have been a McKee. She appears as an heir of Jane McKee (1835), and a legatee of William McKee (1842). In both estates, the heirs were listed as: Hugh McKay and wife Mollie McKay Thomas Simpson and his wife Mariann Simpson William McKee John Beaty and his wife Margaret Beaty Nancy McKee Sarah McKee (who married David McKerley ca 1835-1842) Can you connect to any of these folks? Thomas Simpson died in 1859, and his estate was administered by James McKee. Thomas is supposed to be buried somewhere around Iva, though I have not located his grave or the grave of Mary Ann.
