Bob; No, but there are a lot of folks working on it. I am convinced that Alexander is my ancestor. I am also certain that William Russell McAlister (1807-after 1870) is my g g grandfather. Between them is the problem. I believe Andrew is William Russell McAlister's father (or grandfather). But which one? That's the problem for me. Let me know if you have any further. I'll do the same.
