Looking for information on family probably from Honea Path. My fathers passed away 25 years ago but we recently began genealogy from his side of the family. My father was Albert Batten- born in Lake City S.C. His father(my grandfather) died when he was 5 in 1921 and his mom (my grandmother) passed away in 1929. They were raised by family in Honea Path. My grandparents were John and ALice Batten. My mothers maiden name was Alice (Laura) Bishop. Her parents names were William Thomas Bishop and her mother's maiden name was Blassingham. They may have lived with Keasler family when they were growing up in Honea Path. But we are not sure. Does anyone recognize the Keasler or Bishop name in Honea Path- or Greenville- We found out she is buried in an unmarked grave in Greenville. Thank you
