She married Charles Pinkney Elrod born Sept 4, 1852 in SC and died Apr. 26, 1917 in Pickens County, Al. Both are buried at Dunn's Creek Cemetery in Pickens County, Al. According to "family tradition" her father was a John McGill from Anderson County, SC. John's father is reported to be William McGill born 1725 in Ireland and died 1813 in SC. A.
