His parents were Edmund Bolt b. May 17, 1786, d. Sept. 15, 1868 and Mary Dorroh b. abt. 1793. They were from Laurens County, SC. Edmund Bolt's father was Rev. soldier Abraham Bolt, b. Aug. 24, 1764, d. Aug. 20, 1839. At the moment I can find 1 child of Isham and Mary Caroline Bolt but I think there are others. She is Millie Anna Bolt (Jan. 1857 - May 15, 1923) buried in Wilkes Co. GA, she married Malachi Kenyon Payne (abt. 1846-1901). Beverly
