I would like to thank you all who have help with all my research of the past and I am more than willing to share all the information that I have collected about the following family lines if anyone is researching them: Orr(William Orr however I think there must be a connection to Thomas), Clardy, Bowen, Jameson, Tilley, Mulliken. These lines are far from complete, as alway genealogy is a work in process and I welcome added research. The lines I am working on now are Taylor, and Kelley. The shooting was of a personal nature and unrelated to their professions, however I do not know what their confrontion was about. I do know that there were strong ties between the Poore and Williams families, 2 of Nancy Jane Williams (Joe's wife) were married to Poore's, although I do not know what their relationship if any was to Claude. I do have the Williams family back several generations and I welcome any help with it also especially any connection with Joseph P. Williams and his supposed American Indian heritage. My greatgrandfather was supposely William Mayfield Taylor, that is what his tomestone(buried at Mt. Bethel Baptist Ch., Belton) says, but I am begining to believe that the Mayfield was a nickname or a maternal family name, and not his legal name. On the census he is listed as James William Taylor.
