Hi Babs and Joe and all, The SNOWHILL which I was thinking of is off Highway 243 out of Fair Play, Oconee Co. going towards Townville. If there are any old-timers who know the area it was kind of on what was called the "Mail Route Road" many years ago, which cut between Luther Richie's place and Hwy. 243. The site Babs sent confirmed this. It used to be an area of sorts, and there is a church and cemetery still with the name. I have searched the cemetery but found nothing of my family. I had been told that my great-great grandfather, or at least my great-grandmother (Elias and Caroline Brock) had lived in that area. I even lived near there the first six years of my life, but was to busy playing in the woods to ask everyone about my ancestors. Joe, funny you mention ELRODs buried in the Snowhill Cemetery out on Hwy. 81. One of my G2-grandmothers was an Elrod, Maranda Jane of John W. Elrod and Mary F. Denkins(?) family, of Anderson Co. I don't know if any of her relatives are buried there or not, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble for you to send what you have of who's buried there I'd be grateful. I hope the originator of the "SNOWHILL" question has enough info to make an educated guess now about where they were looking for. Allen
