Bruce. Warren T. Bruce Taken by Death. Belton-Jun 4-- Warren T. Bruce 70 (?) died at his home on Church St. here lastnight at 7 O'clock. He had been in bad health for several months. Born and reared in Franklin Co. Ga. he was a son of the late Davis S. Bruce and Nita Harrison Bruce. He came to belton some 15 years ago and was a carpenter by occupation. Survivers incloude his widow Mrs Ana Burdette Bruce, five sons; Carlton, Glenn, Rumus,and Clinton Bruce and Leland Bruce of Lavonia Ga, one daughter Mrs Nora Bruce Brock, of Martin Ga. Four brothers, Sidney Bruce of Senica, Jones Bruce of Martin Ga.,Crayton Bruce of Greenville, Noris Bruce of Belton, three sisters, Mrs Nora Chapplier of Lovonia Ga., Mrs Dora Echelberger of Carnesville Ga., and Mrs Mollie Stovell of GHreenville. 19 grandchildern, and 2 great-grandchildern. Funeral services will be held from Poplar Spring Baptist Church near Lavonia Ga. of witch he was a member , Thursday afternoon at 3 PM, burial will be in the church Cemetaty with Cox Funeral Home in charge.
