Simmeon Smith born 12.25.1787, NC died 3.22.1875 , Anderson Co, SC buried Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery Amy McAllister married her abt 1808 (I understand that there might be a connection to the Kings as well. I do have another line of Smiths who has a connection to one line of KINGS: Nesburt Rich Smith b. 1856 in Ringgold, GA [s/o John and Jane Ellington Smith] md. Mary King b. 1863.) . . . . The actual family whom I'm looking for are the parents of James Monroe Smith's mother and father, both with the Smith surname. His father was Miles Hampton Smith and his mother was Mary Louise Smith. I have heard that Mary Louise's parents were John and Mary Montgomery Smith of , , SC.
