There is a book written by Grover Parsons Fowler "The House of Fowler" published in 1940 - 754 pages. This bibliography says the book "embrases" the John Fowler of Virginia and branches of NC, GA, TN, KY, AL, and Texas...also records Allied families. [L6343 (genealogies in the Library of Congress); D4615 (DAR Libraries family histories); VV69 (Virdin, Virginia Genealogies, Heritage Books, Inc 1990) ] There is another book on the Fowler surname but it didn't mention Georgia. Bernice...do you have the book by Grover? He was my uncle!!! I was going to order one awhile back, but it cost $105.00 so I didn't... If you have it does it even mention his wife, Ethel Genevieve REID and my father's family? I would SO love to just peek at it!!!
