    3. I am also researching the MOORE family in Anderson County, but I just started so haven't gotten back further than Henry Moore, married to Susan GENTRY, who died in the Civil War. I do already have a copy of the Moore pages from the "Book of the Dead." Grant is there. Moore, Grant A 7-4-1799 (9-15-1882). Wife, Lettuce 11-30-1800 (12-10-1888). Buried in Big Creek, Baptist, (coordinates 8 degrees 26 minutes west longitud, and 34 degrees 36 minutes north latitude.) I wonder if the tombstone really has "Lettuce?" My husband is descent from Henry's son, James Whitner, and his son Prue Jones MOORE. I'll see if I can find Grant on the 1870 census.
