I don't have a whole lot of information on William Alexander Jones, either, just what was in a family tree book written by R. Wayne Bratcher. I don't have that information with me at the computer right now, but I can forward it to you if you want. The only other information I have is from a census entry for Hampton Riley Jones where it states that his father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in South Carolina.
