Debbie, I'm so sorry but I'm doing Vaughans. I've been to the Hollywood Cem., in Richmond, VA, and saw Newton's grave along with my Sanford Vandiver Vaughan and his brother Avery Vaughan. "Van" was married to Newton's sister Harriett. I had the parents in my file as being her parents. I don't know anything else. Maybe my message will stir up some responses for you. Shirley
