Joe, I'm also researching Taylors in Anderson County, SC. If you have anything on James Milton Taylor, b. 1823, I would love to hear from you. I know nothing of his parents or siblings. He married Eliza Ann Telford around late 1840's. One of their sons, James Harrison Taylor, b. 1852 ( my great grandfather ), migrated to Suwannee County, FL in the 1860's with his mother, sister Caroline, and possibly two other siblings.
