Hi. I found the family in 1860 Anderson Co census (p250b) of John G. Hall (35), wife Mary (21), Jas (5), Lawrence (3), and John (1). However, after looking at the 1870 census, John's listed in 1870 (Anderson Co p484a) as age 9, but his name is John Andrew. Are you sure your John's middle initial was S?
