    3. 1830 Anderson Co. SC census, p. 150: 22. John Carder 23. Henderson Elliott 24. William Rodgers Jr, male 30-40 25. John P. Knop 26. Phillip Knop ---------- >I am researching the Knop family. James F. Knop is my great great grandfather. I had copied the census records from Heard County, Georgia also. As you probably know, the dwelling nos are 26 and 27. I think John could have been the father of James F. Knop. James is listed in the 1850 census records of Randolph County, Alabama. Jane was his first wife. By 1870 he was married to Amanda a/k/a Mandy. My great grandfather, Andrew J., is not listed until the 1880 Census in Randolph County. I did not find James F. listed on the 1900 census. I think he must have died between 1881-1899. Andrew J. moved up to DeKalb County, Alabama and was listed on the 1900 census.
