I'm looking for the origins of my g-g-g-g-g grandfather, William Alexander Jones b 1760 d 1846 in Anderson District, South Carolina. He had a first wife (no children) and later married an Anna Estes, d 1847. He and Anna had 7 children including Wilson (my link) b 2 Oct 1805, Hampton Riley, A. Joshua, William, Elizabeth, Polly, and Tempie. He was in Anderson county for sure by 1825, when he purchased 1000 acres of land, however, I can find absolutely nothing on his or his wifes origins, aside from pure speculation. Any help would be most appreciated!
