There is a Generostee Presbyterian Church, an Old Generostee Presbyterian Church, and a Generostee Baptist. I do see a Joseph McClesky (2/17/1834 – 1/26/1910) buried with wife Narcissa Clem at Townville Presbyterian. I also see a Joseph Hamilton McLesky (1/19/1884 – 8/4/1943) buried at the Old Stone Presbyterian Church. Isn’t it interesting that both spellings are Presbyterian? The Anderson County Cemetery Volume #4 has an inventory of Generostee Presbyterian Church in Anderson. Volume #5 has an inventory of Generostee Presbyterian Church in Iva. Both of these volumes are available upstairs in the Genealogy Room of the Anderson Library. I see on a Google search that Generostee Baptist Church is in Starr on Highway 187 South. Old Generostee Presbyterian is on Parker Bowie Road near Iva. Best of luck as you continue searching!
