Surnames: Erskine / Walker Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hcB.2ACE/538.1210.1 Message Board Post: I am tracing the Erskine family members of my great grandfather Hugh Erskine, who lived in County Antrim , outside Belfast. He married Margaret Walker who died April 10, 1911 at their residence Braniel, Castlereigh, Belfast, Ireland. She (& presumably Hugh Erskine) are buried at Boardmills, near Belfast in the family burying ground. My grandmother, Margaret Erskine Bamford, left Ireland in the early 1900's & I know she had a sister Sarah who lived in the States whom she stayed with for a while. . There also was a brother James . Both James & Erskine names have been passed on to grandchildren. . I am wondering if we share a common ancestor on the Erskine side. Dawn Harrison
