C. on 18 Jan. 1815 and wife Amanda Taylor believed born 4 May 1819. Believed to have moved from near Belton in Anderson County with two of Samuels unmarried sisters after 1847. Were in Georgia in 1849 and settled in Cherokee County, AL. before 1857. Samuel died in Cherokee County on 3 July 1898 and Amanda on 15 Aug 1899. Children: Sarah A.,James M., William P., Josephine, born in S.C. Martha born in Georgia and Mary Jane, Edward L.born in Alabama. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
