Eliz. Adair vs Fergus Cavin. Abuse of her mare. Adam Huffman, John Jackson, Wm. Mucklewany, Robt. Patterson, summoned for the Plaintiff. Eliz. Adair vs Fergus Cavin: Referred - The Arbritrators, Elijah McCurdy and John Wilson, Esqrs. made their report as follows: - "We the above mentioned Arbitrators, after hearing the evidence brought forward by the Parties, do make our award as follows - Viz. - that Fergus Cavin do pay Eliz. Adair twenty dollars, or two likely young cows and calves and a two-year's old Heifer or steer, at the option of the said Cavin, and costs of suit, with Stay of Execution one month, and that if Execution issue at the Expiration of that time, it issues for the above sum of $20 and cost.
