McBath lived in Honeapath S.C. approximately from 1855-1865. He was a medical doctor and served the Confederacy in that capacity at Charleston S.C. His home and office was located on the Laurens Rd. east. He was at one time Master of the Masonic Lodge, which stood next to his home. I would like to Know if he was actually in the Confederate army, or if his services were rendered as a civillian. This was in what is now Anderson County S.C.
