In the mid 1980's, the SC Department of Transportation built Highway 153 in Powdersville. Four to six field-stone marked graves belonging to the Rev. James Douthit Family were located along side of a fence line, that was very close to 153 (NW of I-85). No one seems to know what happened to these graves... Do you know?
