    2. Jim, Noticed your last name. I have a couple of McConnell's: Charles McConnell married Elizabeth Duncan, she was born 1823 Pendleton District, SC and died aft 1870 in Hall County, Ga. I have one known child: John McConnell. John McConnell married Linda Lavina Elrod (There are named in the Estate Papers of William Elrod, Sr. who died in 1861 in Anderson County, SC) Unknown McConnell married Lucy Gilmer. Lucy is the daughter of James Calhoun Gilmer and Martha Louise Norris. Do any of these make a connection with you? A. Deason Smith SC

I was aware that it was OC and Mary Ann who were divorced. My reply was badly written. Anyway, I'll send you my mother's phone number directly. Gina Scott gave you info on Jesse Allen early in this thread of responses. She is in Alonzo's line (Alonzo, you may remember, is Bud's and Katie's brother.) She also provided the info on the parents of Margaret Davis, Robert M. Osborne's first wife. I've asked her for her sources. I can send you or your mother family group records or descendencency charts based on the info I gave you last time if you want, in paper, e-mail or GEDCOM file. That would include the data out of Parker's book. Thanks, Barry Clark Fredericksburg, Va.

    3. Johnny, I have a lot of information on ANDREW JACKSON GRAHAM family & OLIVER PERRY COLE family. Both of these 2 families are connected heavily with the EDWARD D. FREEMAN family. The GRAHAM & FREEMAN families were from Anderson Co, SC & the COLE family were from Anderson Co, SC & Hart Co, GA & Elbert Co, GA. I can send you a copy of what I have (a lot) by snail mail. I have not mastered sending files over the e-mail. Send me your mailing address & I'll get it in the mail in a few days. Do you have any information on either of these families that you can share. I have the GRAHAMs back to 1815, FREEMANs back to 1812 & COLEs back to 1823 fully, but have the next 3 generations of grandparents to 1729. Carol F. 3. Ms. Craft, I just recently started getting back into geneology after a much needed rest from it (too many brick walls; too much frustration). I am very familiar with Anderson,SC as I have lived here all my life. I am not familiar with the survey you're asking about but do know that most "Bratchers" come from around Belton, SC which is a small town about five to ten miles east of Anderson. I'll pry around and try to find R. Wayne Bratcher for you. Good luck with your search!!! rmackins@earthlink.net > [Original Message] > From: Peggy C.
