    2. Theresa Simms-Smith
    3. Posted on: Anderson County, SC Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/SC/Anderson/1736 Surname: Simms, Richardson ------------------------- Hello, My name is Theresa Simms-Smith I am in search of history from my Fathers side of the family. All I can tell you is that his side of the family was a big secrect. Maybe I shouldn't even persue this. But I would like to know something about the Most wonderful man in the world who was my dad. Here is the info I have to work with. Where you find Question marks is unsure info. My mom basically knew nothing about his past history or family. He never talked about when he was a little boy, Not one story in the 18 wonderful years I knew him. When ever any of us asked questions he always said, leave that alone, stay out of the past. INFO: His name was LOUIS SIMMS. He was born in ANDERSON, SC ? DOB: 10-10-1920 He was also a veteran of World War II DOD: 12-3-1976 His Mother's name was BERTHA (Richardson or Simms)? His Father's name was JOHN OR FRANK (Simms)(I have heard both names now my mom's not sure? He had two aunts JESSIE MAE RICHARDSON AND ROSE or ROSA RICHARDSON ? To my knowledge Rose raised him. ? This is all the info I have on him. But his Aunt Jessie Mae Richardson was very close and protective of him. She was very light skinned and looked like an Indian Woman with Pretty long black hair down her back. (I have a suspicion that it's possible she may have been my Grandma) This is the only info I have. I have been trying Database after Database and I can't find one Louis Simms with his Birth date. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. This search has gone on for over 6 months. This is a last result before I finally give up. I decided after the holidays I would give up. Thanks inadvance to anyone who can help.

My grandparents were John and ALice Batten. My mothers maiden name was Alice (Laura) Bishop. Her parents names were William Thomas Bishop and her mother's maiden name was Blassingham. 2. Nancy Custer
    3. Bette, Be sure that the email to unsubscribe comes FROM THE MINDSPRING ADDRESS you used to subscribe. (For example, I have two mindspring email accounts with different names-one my name and one with my initials only.) The server will only recognize you in connection with the address you originally used to subscribe. Be sure you are sending to SCANDERS-L-request@rootsweb.com Send a message with a blank Subject, and with 'unsubscribe' (without the quotes) in the body, to the address for unsubbing. You can still send from your mindspring account even if you are using a cable modem now. If you don't know how to set up your email to do this, a simple solution is to go to www.springmail.com and log onto the mindpsring mail server online using your username and password for mindspring. You can read your mindspring mail online and send mail from that location that will come from your mindspring address. Hope this helps, Nancy Custer Always looking for a Dorsey/Kelley connection
