I am looking for any information on the descendants and parents of John W.B.Orr. He was known as California John Orr, he went to California to work in the gold mines, made his fortune(a small one) came back to Anderson, and bought a farm at Brushey Creek. He was the son of Nancy Clardy and William Orr. Nancy Clardy was the daughter of Mary "Polly" Clardy (d/o Benjamin Clardy b. ca 1742 and Aggie Booth b.1755) and John Clardy(no info although probably related in some way).
