    3. Hi. I found the family in 1860 Anderson Co census (p250b) of John G. Hall (35), wife Mary (21), Jas (5), Lawrence (3), and John (1). However, after looking at the 1870 census, John's listed in 1870 (Anderson Co p484a) as age 9, but his name is John Andrew. Are you sure your John's middle initial was S? 2. Does anyone know what happened to the pictures that were kept at the old Anderson Cotton Mill before it was torn down. My Grandmother worked in the mill as a child. also I am looking for a picture(s) or pictures of the Carousel (Merry Go Round) that was at the annual fair in Anderson. The clipping shows the twin boys with their calves. The caption says "Tommy and Tony Bell, twins of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bell, Anderson County, S.C., are beaming with pride because of ther twin calves, Betty and Bob." I can't remove the original without destroying it and other photos, but I'd be glad to send a scanned copy to someone if these little boys are their relatives.

    3. I don't tie in w/the LENHARDTS, but there were a few of them in Easley, Pickens Co., not too far from Anderson Co. There was a Lawrence LENHARDT in this group of LENHARDTS as well as his sister. They were elderly when I was a teenager, and I'm sure they are deceased by now, but neither of them married. There is a LENHARDT Road in Easley also. I"m sure there must have been others. You may want to look in that area. Easley is abt ten miles fr. Greenville, and it's only abt six miles to the county line. HOpe this helps someone!
