    3. The following were transcribed from the microfilm of the original death cert. These are located at the Camden Archives & Musuem, Camden, SC and are available for the years 1915 - 1952. Sorry about so many different posts, but they include all these areas. Billie Jones ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1915 - Death Cert. #17107, Aiken Co, SC John M. Carpenter Male, white, married, fisherman b. Ramey, Saluda, SC Buried at Trinity Lutheran Church, Saluda Co, SC with her parents and most of her siblings. The cem. record puts her birthdate as Sept 13, 1891, while the calculations from age at death put it at Sept 13, 1890. the informant is most likely her youngest brother James Otis Gregory. -------------------------------------------------------------- 1917 - Death Cert. #8493, Edgefield Co., SC Beulah Blanche Prescott Female, white, single b. Oct 8, 1915, SC father: (W. F.) Prescott, Orangeburg Co, SC mother: Maude (Jumper), SC d. May 7, 1917, Collins township, Edgefield Dist, SC cause: Dysentery, caused infcetion of (Power) House that caused toxin poison. informant: B. B. Jones, Edgefield, SC buried: Edgefield [Edgefield Village Cem, Edgefield, EC, SC] UT: B. B. Jones This one is conflicting with information I have from another researcher I had Beulah Blanche Prescott as the d/o William Edward Prescott b. 1850 md. Julia Ann Devore King b. 1885. Julia is the 2nd wife of W. E. Prescott. Since she was buried with them, and wife Julia Ann was younger than William E. Prescott and of age to have a daughter the age of Beulah, I assumed that she belonged in his family. But death cert. made me relook at the data. Checking the cemetery records, she may be the daughter of the other couple buried beside her: W. T. and Maude Jumper as her DC states. That matches her death cert. information. Seems we have attached her incorrectly, attaching her to her grandparents rather than her parents. Prescott, Ellen [CULBREATH] 1852 - 1900 Prescott, Dr. William E. [Edward] Jan 5 1850 - Mar 27 1916 Medlock, Julia Ann DeVore KING Prescott Apr 29 1885 - Mar 23 1975 *Prescott, Beulah Blanche Oct 8 1915 - May 7 1917 *Prescott, Walter C. Sep 21 1912 - Jan 25 1954 Prescott, Maude JUMPER Sep 10 1883 - Jul 18 1974 Prescott, Wallace T. [Thomas] Sep 21 1879 - Jun 3 1955 So I then went to census records, but of course Beulah Blanche does not show up in a census. But found Walter who is buried beside Beulah, and he fits into the Wallace T. and Maude Jumper Prescott family too, which leads me to believe that the two Prescotts buried with Julia and William E. Prescott are their grandchildren. CENSUS: 1920 Lee township, Florence Co, SC, p. 119 Wallace T.
