I posted this death cert. and the obit along with it earlier. Several folks pointed out that the brothers listed in Mrs. Bessie Couch Bodies obits are called Bodies in the obit. I checked with the person who got the original from the Augusta Chronicle, in case it was MY type, but it is typed correctly from the newspaper. Evidently the Newspaper made the error. However, the initials of the Bodie brothers match up with the Couch boys in the family in the census records posted below the obit.... 1941 - Death Cert. #18709, Aiken Co, SC Mrs. Bessie C. The Rev. Paul Hartsell will officiate, and interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Mrs. Bodie's nephews will act as pallbearers.
