I have found an engagement announcement for a young lady in 1978 who was supposed to be a granddaughter of "the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bitters". I will send this to you privately. So far, I haven't been able to find an obituary for Kenneth Bitters though. Hope this helps.
